As you travel along West 5^th Street in Eureka, you will notice the new “skyscape” with the addition of a steeple on top of Eden Community Church at 1729 West 5^th Street.  The children at Eden (E-Kidz) have been saving for a little over two years to purchase the steeple.  They worked hard to earn the money ... coin competitions, cake bake auctions, special offerings ... just to name a few.

The families of Eden signed a board that was installed inside the steeple prior to installation to commemorate the event.  Then, the morning the crane came to install the steeple, families gathered to watch as it was lifted up and put in place.  It was a special time for the congregation.  Eden would like to extend a special thank you to Dale Hicks and Associates for their time and hard work in getting the steeple installed, especially through the record breaking temperatures.

Senior Pastor, Dr. Keith Mathis, shared, "It is great to see the vision of our children and their excitement as they see this vision finally come to be installed and sitting on the top of the church."  Ally, age 4, shared, “I want a steeple for my house.”  Emma, age 9, said, “I’m excited about the steeple because it means more people will see our church and come visit!”
